Visit / Meeting Reports
Welcome, gardeners and non-gardeners, to the Garden Group.
The aim of our group is to broaden our knowledge of plants, planting and all aspects of gardens and gardening.
The group meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 2 pm, to listen to a talk or visit a garden.
In the cooler months a guest speaker is invited to share their experiences, give demonstrations, offer advice, plant recommendations and ideas for our own gardens. We meet in Welton Village Hall when there is a talk, with an entrance fee of £4, which includes refreshments.
Garden visits are varied; small or large, formal or informal, local or a few miles away. There is usually a springtime visit to see seasonal bulbs in flower and other visits are in the warmer months. Members can travel together or independently. Entrance charges vary for garden visits.
Whether you have a garden or just enjoy seeing other people's, you are welcome to join us.
If you are interested in joining the group please contact me.
