Although all meetings are suspended, the members are in contact and have not stopped knitting.
- It is very friendly relaxed group and we enjoy being together – we are all missing our meetings.
However, we are still busy knitting and here are photos of some of the knitting we have been producing.
This is my rainbow blanket I have been knitting all winter and have finally finished.
I belong to the knitting group. I made this blanket including pom poms on each corner, I think it would be a good project for using up oddments.
I’m now back to trying to finish all my U F Os. There are a lot of them.
I belong to the knitting group and usually knit mittens and scarves but decided to do something different and have used left over bits of balls of wool to crochet this blanket. Felicity Amery
This group is a chance for people with an interest in Knitting and Crochet to meet and chat. All levels welcome.
Come along to knit and chat and perhaps look at what others are doing and swap ideas. All levels welcome, any help needed can be given to new knitters, we have spare needles and wool. Just come and enjoy!
Some of the group make hats for the shoe box appeal and cardigans and hats for the premature baby unit at Lincoln County Hospital. We have other projects to work on this year too.
When restrictions allow, we will meet at the Welton Methodist Chapel hall on the 2nd Tuesday morning each month. Time: 10.00 till 12.00
