Knitting Group

• This group is a chance for people with an interest in Knitting and Crochet to meet and chat. All levels welcome.
• Come along to knit and chat and perhaps look at what others are doing and swap ideas. All levels welcome, any help needed can be given to new knitters, we have spare needles and wool. Just come and enjoy! 
• Some of the group make hats for the shoe box appeal and cardigans and hats for the premature baby unit at Lincoln County Hospital. We have other projects to work on this year too.
• We meet at the Welton Methodist Chapel hall  on the 2nd Tuesday morning each month. Time: 10.00 till 12.00

Post Toppers

Knitting Group decided this year to try to do a post box topper. Since the group meet at the church and there are two pillars outside, plus we couldn’t think of a suitable post box, we thought it would be rather appropriate to do a couple of pillar toppers.

We were a bit late starting but come September we’d found some patterns and had some ideas so all got busy. We’ve knitted Christmas trees, a woolly reindeer, a Father Christmas and a snowman plus Christmas Parcels for one of them and for the second one we decided on a nativity scene.
